The Anxious Firefighter was born out of my own struggles with anxiety. After years of fighting it, I sought help and support.
From this the Anxiuos Firefighter was born on Twitter as I began to talk openly about my mental health.
Companies and radio shows brought me in to talk about my experience and the fire was lit!

Through a process of therapy, medication and self discovery I learnt to manage the anxiety.
I was asked to help build a wellbeing team within the Fire Service and through this project, trained to be a mental health first aid instructor.
I then trained to Masters Level in Psychotherapy and worked in some highly challenging placements with clients.

I now combine being a front line manager in the Fire and Rescue Service, being a highly qualified psychotherapist and mental health professional with being a very experienced and pragmatic instructor.
I work in private practice, and Anxiety UK.
My aim is to bring you un-parallelled training in mental health, so you can best protect people in your workplace.
